Business Office
The Business Office serves the District 131 community through the management of all financial and business operations, including:
- Accounting: Managing district general ledgers, financial records, and annual audit coordination.
- Benefits: Administering comprehensive employee health, dental, vision, life insurance, and wellness plans.
- Food Services: Overseeing nutritional programs, student meal accounts, and food service financial bookkeeping.
- Grants: Managing federal, state, and local grant applications, funding budgets, and compliance reporting.
- Internal Services: Providing district-wide financial operations support and administrative resources.
- Payroll: Processing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll, tax withholdings, and retirement system reporting (TRS and IMRF).
- Purchasing: Handling vendor procurement, public bidding solicitations, purchase orders, and contract management.
